Bottom line: Black Friday 2026 falls on November 27, with Cyber Monday on November 30. This page is not a list of deals, because nobody knows what those deals are yet and anyone publishing them now is guessing. It is a page about how not to get fooled, built on what actually happened in previous years. The short version: a slash-through price is a marketing claim, not a fact, and several products in this category hit their genuine low at Prime Day or in post-launch clearance rather than in November.

The Claim That Should Make You Suspicious
“Lowest price ever” is the most repeated phrase of Black Friday week, and it is worth understanding how little it guarantees.
Take the Garmin Forerunner 265. On Black Friday 2024, TechRadar reported it at $349.99, down from $449.99, calling it a “new lowest-ever price.” That was accurate at the time. By Prime Day in June 2026, Tom’s Guide listed the same watch at $332 and noted it “does sometimes drop below $300 in sales.” So a genuine record low was beaten by ordinary mid-year discounting within two years.
The Forerunner 955 is a cleaner example still. Live Science covered it on Black Friday 2024 at $399.99, describing it as equalling “the lowest price we have ever seen it.” In the same article they published the watch’s price history: it sat at $499.99 most of the year with occasional sales down to $405 or $399.99. The Black Friday price matched a number the watch had already reached during the year without any shopping holiday attached. Technically a record. Practically, a Tuesday.
Neither outlet was being dishonest. Both were reporting accurately. The problem is that “lowest ever” describes a moment, not a floor, and buyers hear it as a floor.
How to Check a Price Yourself in Thirty Seconds
This is the single most useful skill for November, and it costs nothing.
Browser extensions and price-tracking sites plot an item’s Amazon price over time. Before you buy anything during a sale, look at the twelve-month chart and answer one question: has this product been at or below the sale price at any other point this year? If yes, the discount is a return to a recurring price rather than a genuine low, and skipping it costs you very little.
Two patterns to look for. A flat line with occasional dips that the sale price merely matches is the Forerunner 955 situation above. A list price that was quietly raised shortly before the sale makes the percentage look larger than the saving is, which is the mechanism behind inflated “was” anchors. Neither is illegal and both are common.
The corollary is more cheerful: when the chart shows a price genuinely below anything in the past year, that is a real deal, and you can buy with confidence rather than hoping.
Where Waiting Genuinely Pays
Oura. This is the clearest case in the category. Oura rarely discounts outside major sales, which NBC Select described in November 2025 as the ring being “rarely on sale.” When it does, the cut is substantial. In Black Friday 2025, Engadget and Tom’s Guide both reported the Oura Ring 4 at $249, down from $349, roughly 28 to 29 percent. TechRadar reported the gold finishes at $349 from $499, a 30 percent saving. Yahoo’s shopping desk noted that 2025 was the first Black Friday the Ring 4 had been discounted at all, having launched too recently the year before.
One caveat that applies every year: the membership is not discounted. TechRadar made the useful observation that $100 off the hardware roughly covers seventeen months of the $5.99 subscription, which is a fair way to think about it. Garmin. Reliably discounted and often deeply. TechRadar’s Black Friday 2024 coverage recorded the Forerunner 165 at $199.99 from $249.99, the Forerunner 55 at $149.99 from $199.99, and the Forerunner 255 at $249.99 from $349.99, each described as a lowest-ever price at the time. Garmin is a genuine Black Friday brand. Just apply the price-history check first, because as shown above, Garmin lows also happen in June. The Forerunner 265 was listing at $449.99 in July 2026, which is its full price and a useful baseline to measure any November claim against.

Therabody and massage guns. Percussion devices discount reliably and steeply through the holiday period. Where Waiting Does Not Pay
Apple Watch. Apple controls pricing tightly and Black Friday discounts are shallow and retailer-driven rather than manufacturer-led. More importantly the discounting is not seasonal: NBC Select’s Prime Day 2026 coverage listed 30 percent off the Apple Watch Series 11 in June, and Tom’s Guide ran a piece headlined that Amazon had slashed prices on every Apple Watch model ahead of Prime Day. The Series 11 was $299 when we checked in July 2026. If you want one, buy it when you see a price you like rather than holding out for November.

Strava and subscription software. Software subscriptions in this space essentially do not run Black Friday promotions. Waiting for a Strava discount is waiting for something that historically does not arrive, as our Strava review gets into.
WHOOP. The hardware is bundled into a membership, so there is no hardware price to discount. Promotions tend to be modest and structured around membership terms rather than the deep percentage cuts you see on standalone devices. The Peak membership was $239 for twelve months in July 2026. Prime Day Versus Black Friday
The assumption that November is the annual floor does not hold up, and the evidence is not subtle.
NBC Select’s Prime Day 2026 roundup listed 50 percent off the Garmin Epix Pro, 43 percent off the Fitbit Charge 6, and 30 percent off the Apple Watch Series 11. Those are Black Friday-scale numbers arriving in June. Tom’s Guide’s Prime Day coverage the same month described almost every Garmin watch as reduced, with several at lowest-ever prices.
Amazon now runs two Prime events a year, in July and again in October, and the October one lands close enough to November to make the comparison direct. Our practical read, offered as editorial judgment rather than a rule: for Amazon-sold fitness hardware, Prime Day is at least as likely to produce the annual low as Black Friday, and the October event in particular is worth watching, because a good price there means you stop waiting.
The exception is brand-direct discounting. Oura’s deepest cuts have come in the Black Friday window rather than at Prime Day, because Oura is not primarily an Amazon-driven brand.
